This Hickory Bed is a sure way to add rustic beauty to your bedroom. Hickory is one of the most durable and variant woods available, featuring stunning knots and dark coloration in the wood and grains, far-exceeding the rustic look of a standard pine or cedar bed. The Amish-made bed is available in twin, full, queen, king, California king, and custom sizes. The standard height of a headboard is approximately 54″. The standard height of a footboard is approximately 42″. A modified footboard height of 28″ is also common. All beds include side rails and center supports, so no metal bed frame is required. Beds are also available as headboards only. The last pictures shows an example of a custom size headboard to fit under a window.
Because of the variety and characteristics of wood, each piece will be unique. Texture, knots, and coloration will vary. We do our best to accommodate special requests, but ask that you appreciate and understand the beauty that comes within each piece of wood.
